Well, let me tell you about my first trip.
We went to Estonia and visited our partner school Kose-Uuemõisa Lasteaed-Kool. It is much smaller than our school. Only 70 pupils, aged from 2 to 10, study there. Like you, they love sports. School starts at 8:00 a.m. and some of the pupils stay there until 7:00 pm, when parents come to pick them up. They study in large, beautiful and clean rooms and do the same subjects you do. I attended their classes and looked at their notebooks. They are very diligent. To my surprise, a great many of the pupils go to school by bike. A good idea, isn’t it? I forgot to tell you that I wasn’t there alone. Mrs Kalaydzhieva- the school contact person, Mrs Staneva - an English teacher and Mrs Mancheva- the school’s head teacher accompanied me. They took part in making the first semester Action Plan, learned about important administrative decisions and presented our school to the rest of the participants. Of course, they didn’t miss on introducing me to the Estonian children, who had gathered together to welcome the guests with a short musical programme. I gave them a box full of presents and things to remind of “Hristo Yassenov” school and you. It was interesting and fun.
I’d like to thank the hosts for their hospitality and nice atmosphere. I’m looking forward to my next trip. Where will it take me? What I am sure about is that first I must see you and give you a number of tasks to do. Wait for me!
